Help me fly
I am the Flag of the United States of America.
Help me fly.
I stand for peace, honor, truth, freedom and justice. I am your single voice in a nation of many, I am many voices in a single nation.
Help me fly.
I have flown on the battlefields of bloodshed. I have draped the caskets of our Hero’s who have fought to defend our freedom.
Help me fly.
I have been brought to the ground, burned, torn and trampled upon, both on my own land and foreign soil. But I will not be defeated.
Help me fly.
I am loved, honored and saluted. Prayers are said at my foundation. Other nations respect me and at the same time they fear me.
Help me fly.
I have withstood all wars in the past 200 years, civil unrest within my own shores and acts of terrorism upon my very soil, but I will not fall. I am invincible.
Help me fly.
Illuminate me so all may know that in the darkest hours my colors shine the brightest.
Help me fly.
Place my mast in a cast of stone so the winds of evil will not bring me down and that all nations will know that my foundation is based upon “One nation, under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all”.
Help me fly.
